A Hand Up

With all the uncertainty, fear, and hurt swirling around us these days, the suggestion of forgiveness as it comes in the parable of the prodigal son can seem awfully far out of reach. But what if this invitation was not something we were supposed to tackle alone, but one we approach together, receiving a boost up over the wall, and then reaching to help the next person scale it as well?
