Questions Most Welcome

The disciples don’t believe the women when they run to tell them the good news of the resurrection on that first Easter morning. This part of the story can feel frustrating — just one more instance of the patriarchy at work! — but what if they are also giving us permission to doubt, to question, to wrestle with what we believe? What if those first followers are setting the example that doubt is inherently part of faith, and that it is good and human?
