The Speed of Change

Paul’s conversion experience is a dramatic one — flashes of light, voices and visions, scales finally falling from his eyes. This example has sometimes been used hurtfully, suggesting that we should all encounter God with such intensity. But what if sometimes, our connection with God unfolds much more slowly, through relationship and tenderness, over years even? Peter shows us what this can be like, and how good it can be.
