Choir Begins Again

Choir is back! Our new music director, Jamie Apgar, will be with us very soon. Weekly choir rehearsals will start back up on Thursday, January 8th at 7pm in the sanctuary. All are welcome to join, whether you’ve sung with the choir before or not. All that’s needed is a willingness to try and a desire to sing together! Jamie’s first Sunday with us will be January 11th.

Jamie is coming to us most recently from Episcopal Parish of the Good Shepherd near Boston, Massachusetts. He and his wife Melanie are excited to be returning to the Bay Area, which is a kind of homecoming for them — Jamie completed his PhD at UC Berkeley in Music, History, and Literature. While there, he also taught at the Episcopal seminary, Church Divinity School of the Pacific, and served as the music director at All Souls Parish in Berkeley.
