In the wake of the attack on Venezuela, it is easy to feel helpless, or to go numb. The forces at work here are so much larger and more powerful than any one of us. Too often it feels like there’s not much we can do to change any of it. And yet, and yet. The Magi make their way through dangerous plots and violence that are not so different from our own day.
