Queer Faith Festival is Almost Here!

The Queer Faith Festival is a free LGBTQ+ interfaith community celebration taking place on Sunday, June 14 from 2:00–5:00 PM at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church in Lafayette. 1035 Carol Lane, Lafayette, CA 94549. Learn more at www.queerfaithfestival.org

This family-friendly event brings together people of all faiths, backgrounds, and identities for an afternoon of community, storytelling, music, art, spiritual reflection, and joy. The festival will feature drag performances, faith speakers, a community blessing ritual, children’s activities, crafts, food, a book nook, and opportunities to connect with affirming organizations and communities from across Contra Costa County and beyond.

Confirmed participants include Bishop Jeff Johnson, Rev. Canon Mary Carter Green, Drag Performer and Advocate Mx. Kiki Krunch, and other LGBTQ+ faith leaders and community members sharing personal stories and perspectives. The Queer Faith Festival was created to celebrate LGBTQ+ belonging within spiritual and community life and to build visible, welcoming spaces of affirmation, connection, and hope. All are welcome.
