Donations Needed

Donations needed! This week when you’re out running errands, please consider picking up one of these items, which we’re gathering for CCIC (Contra Costa Interfaith Coalition). Through partnerships with local social service agencies, CCIC provides essential household items (such as the bedding we provided during our Lenten drive) and food assistance to individuals and families facing challenges such as homelessness, domestic violence, disability, and poverty. CCIC’s mission is to improve living conditions and quality of life, bringing hope and light to those navigating adversity.

CCIC has an immediate need for the following items, which COR will collect this Sunday and next, August 9 and 16:

• Irons & ironing boards

• Vacuums

• Microwaves

• Twin comforters

• Frying pans

CCIC requests that these items be new or gently used. While CCIC appreciates any donation made to help the Contra Costa County community, CCIC asks that all items donated be in good, clean condition with minimal signs of wear or damage.
