Gathering Household Items for CCIC
August 9
Through partnerships with local social service agencies, Contra Costa Interfaith Coalition (CCIC) provides essential household items (such as the bedding COR provided during our lenten drive) and food assistance to individuals and families facing challenges such as homelessness, domestic violence, disability, and poverty. CCIC’s mission is to improve living conditions and quality of life, bringing hope and light to those navigating adversity.
CCIC has an immediate need for the following items, which COR will collect on Sunday, August 9 and Sunday, August 16:
- Irons & ironing boards
- Vacuums
- Microwaves
- Twin comforters
- Frying pans
CCIC requests that these items be new or gently used. While CCIC appreciates any donation made to help the Contra Costa County community, CCIC asks that all items donated be in good, clean condition with minimal signs of wear or damage.
