New Small Groups Forming
August 31

For the past three years, we have offered new ways to connect with other church members while deepening our spiritual selves. Each fall, different small groups have been created as a way to find a new practice with others. These groups will be forming again this September and will meet over the next few months. This is your opportunity to decide to participate, because once the groups are formed they will not be re-opened to additional members so that the group can form cohesion and build trust. We’ll then start new small groups again the following fall.
If you are interested in participating in either of the small groups listed below, please email Rev. Whitney by August 31st.
“Emmaus Group:” Finding Jesus along the way
A small group that will include about 6-8 people that will meet twice a month for an initial period of 4 months. The group will discuss faith journeys and will read and discuss “Walk in Love,” a study of the Episcopal church tenets.
“Finding the Bible” Small Groups: These 6-person groups will meet every week to study different books of the Bible, beginning with a month-long biblical overview. The group will meet for about an hour and have time for Bible study, prayer, and check-in.
Please email Rev. Whitney if you have questions or are interested in these groups.
