Welcome back to Sunday School & Waterslide Sunday

Please mark your calendars for Sunday August 16th when we will kick off Sunday School for another year and celebrate with our traditional “Waterslide Sunday.” All kids, ages 2-11 are welcome to attend Sunday School in the Parish Hall (just across from the sanctuary) beginning at 10:15am. The class begins in the larger room with fun gathering activities and then moves to the smaller classroom for the Bible story and class time. The class time lasts about 40 minutes and there is plenty of space for wiggles. Parents are welcome to attend as well.

Sunday School teachers will lead the children back to church at the Passing of Peace (before communion) so they can rejoin their families. After communion, the kids will be invited to come to the front and receive a blessing as they return back to school to start a new year. They are welcome to bring their backpacks as well.

After the worship service concludes, the church will provide a pizza lunch, and a waterslide will be set up on the lawn. All families are welcome to participate. If you have any questions, please let Rev. Whitney know.
