Youth Group

On youth group generally meets twice a month Sundays. On the second Sunday of the month, we gather with other youth from around the deanery (Episcopal churches in East Contra Costa County.) On the fourth Sunday of the month, we get together as our own group at Church of the Resurrection. In addition to goofing around we explore a range of contemporary issues of life and faith. Our hope is to give our kids a solid understanding of the Episcopal Church and Christianity, then ask them to question it, test it with their own experience and apply it to the world. The teens also take on periodic service projects, retreats and trips to places like Tahoe, Disneyland and Santa Cruz. Questions? Contact Shannon Eng, and she’ll be excited to connect you with the group!
