At our Blue Christmas service this evening we gave thanks for time to gather in this holy season, just as we are. With all the mixed emotions and memories we carry.

OK, friends, trivia time: why on earth would your priests need a spool of fishing line and an unfurled coat hanger taped to the back end of a duster, all to help get us ready for the second Sunday of Advent!? Any guesses what we’re up to?

Tomorrow we begin Advent! Join us these next four Sundays at 8 and 10:15 as we begin singing and praying our way toward Christmas.
